The Pure-Land Elixir

A monk asked the master Zhaozhou: “What is that which is spiritual?”
The Master replied: “A puddle of pee in the Pure Land.”
The monk said: “Wow. I ask you to reveal it to me.”
Zhaozhou said: “Don’t tempt me, brother.”

한 스님이 Zhaozhou선사에게 물었다.
"영적인 그것이 무엇입니까?"
선사가 대답했다.
"정토(극락)의 한줄기 오줌이니라."
스님이 말했다.
"와우. 그것을 저에게 보여주시기를 청합니다."
Zhaozhou 선사가 말했다.
"나를 유혹하지 말게, 친구"
