Chasing Two Rabbits

A martial arts student approached his teacher with a question.

한 무술인 제자가 그의 스승에게 질문을 했다.

 “I’d like to improve my knowledge of the martial arts.

   저는 무술에 대한 저의 지식을 향상시키고 싶습니다.

In addition to learning from you, I’d like to study with another teacher in order to learn another style. 

스승님께 배우는 거 외에 다른 스타일을 배우기 위해 다른 스승과 함께 공부하기를 원합니다.

What do you think of this idea?”

어떻게 생각하세요?"

“The hunter who chases two rabbits,” answered the master, “catches neither one.”

 "두마리 토끼를 쫓는 사냥꾼은 하나도 잡지 못한다." 스승이 말했다.
