Dreaming

Chuang Tzu, ancient Chinese Taoist, once experienced a dream in which he was a butterfly fluttering here and 

there. 

고대 중국의 도인인 Chuang Tzu(장자)가 한번은 그가 나비가 되어 이러저리로 날아다는 꿈을 꾸었다.

In the dream he had no awareness of his individuality as a person; 

꿈에서 그는 인간으로서의 그의 개인성을 자각하지 못했다.

he was simply a butterfly.

그는 단지 한마리의 나비였다.

Suddenly, he awoke and found that once again he was a human laying in bed. 

갑자기, 그는 깨어나서 그가 침대에 누워있는 한 인간이라는 사실을 알아차렸다.

But then he thought to himself,

그러자 혼자 속으로 생각했다.

 “Was I before a man who dreamt about being a butterfly, or am I now a butterfly who dreams about being a man?

”

  "내가 나비가 되기 전에 인간이었나 아니면 인간이 되는 것을 꿈꾸고 있는 나비인가?"
